There may still be time for us humans to avert the worst effects of climate change so that we and future generations will be able to live in this wonderful world, though the recent COP talks make it harder to believe that the big global players will really do enough.
It’s not just about CO2 emissions but also the environment, ecological and social issues and our own relationships with nature. These are all interlinked.
As individuals we need to learn how we ourselves can change the way we live, to minimise our own contribution to the damage that is being done. And we can learn to be more resilient in the face of these challenges.
As citizens we need to do all we can to influence our leaders and policy makers. We need to make the big corporations aware of how much we care about the damage that is being done to the planet
It begins with the individual. Societies change one person at a time. Active Hope may be the next step for you in this process.
